I lamented horribly when this man was murdered and cried so many nights listening to this song. I served in the Vietnam War and have grown in the years since to understand that John was a liberal in the extreme. Paul still is.
They were/are great song writers but should have (as most wealthy musicians) SHUT UP and sing! Should NEVER use one's entertainment status to dictate policy. Entertainment, GET IT?
