@supervanscott ,,,, Please tell me what is "normal"? could it have something to do with majority. I just got out of hospital 2 days ago so forgive my late reply. My case is real and I don't mind discussing it. I kinda see it as my spirit is hurt but I know the reasons why but help seems difficult. It comes down to life experience not a physical aliment.

I thought I was bipolar recently. This mental condition comes from suffering and not doing anything about it. Or trying to do something about it, and miserably failing. At some point you become elated and all the pain rises to the surface.
That's when you have to deal with the problems. Not medicate them. In some cases, medication is necessary.
I CAN CREATE A WHOLE MOVIE IN MY MIND IN WHICH EVER WAY I WANT ...........I DO IT MOST OF THE TIME UNTIL SOMEONE BASHES ON ME AND TELL ME HARSH REALITY OF MY LIFE
Exactly! Bipolar isn't just being very happy or very sad! Dissociation, delusions, hallucinations and mixed states are MORE important than happy and sad.
@APPLExHUGSxFOREVER IT SUCKS ?...........ITS WORSER THAN HELL........I AM 17 I MIGHT HAVE ATTEMPTED SUICIDE ABOUT 4 TIMES.........MY SCHOOL LIFE WAS A BIG NIGHTMARE TO ME.............EVEN IF I TOLD MY PARENTS THAT I AM ILL ,THEY WOULD WANT ME TO BATH IN ICE COLD WATER NO MATTER HOW I FEEL......AND TELLING THEM I AM BIPOLAR.......IT WOULD BE END OF MY LIFE
One thing I do admire about you CapnCrossbones is your ability to challenge others on Youtube. Don't ever loose that as the more information you get the better informed you become.
Hi CapnCrossbones, One question how were you diagnosed as having "Bipolar"? Did they do a blood test to find out you had a "mental Ilness" or was it a "professional" filling in a designated questionaire and they decided from your answers you were "Bipolar". They then labelled you this and medicated you. If you want a sciencific challenge over the existence of this condition or "other mental illness" I would be more than happy to respond. By the way how many years have you been medicated?
@21kaloma when I was a kid teachers in school thought I was retarded or something. They knew something was different about me I acted different than other kids. I was not hyper I was just off the chart moody and had trouble expressing how I felt. They did extensive testing on me including IQ tests. Nothing poke and prod when I was a child though no diagnosis was made until I was about 12 when I was diagnosed. Yes blood tests were a small part of it but behavioral specialists nailed it.
@CapnCrossbones A panel of Psychiatric Doctors did a lot of testing on me when I was a teenager and in that time they tried a lot of adult medications on me. I spent half of my teenage years a drooling vegetable and it was useless to stay in school.
My illness is most evident when people put a lot of pressure on me. I shut down or explode and it is quite noticeable. When I met my ex I had just weened myself off meds and was ignoring my issues. They caught up to me when I turned 30ish relapse :(
I agree these conditions "DONT EXIST" and none of them have been sciencifically validated, scruntised or proven. They exist for one reason and one reason only that is to entrap the most vunerable citizens within communities enslave them and treat them with toxic drugs. I challenged anyone to prove me wrong.
@21kaloma mental illness is the last frontier of open discrimination. I challenge you to prove us you are right. As a Bipolar person I live it prove me wrong.
fake disorder there is no real test to diagnose this bogus disorder its all a matter of someones opinion someone who surpports making the drug companies lots more money wake up people
@LaLune44 as a fellow Beeper I agree. The people who think this is fake or it don't exist should walk in our shoes and see for themselves. Not all beepers take meds because of the adverse effects and diminishing effects on quality of life but we pay the price with rapid cycling and mania and the never ending mood swings from HELL. What might be a simple task for common folks can be a nightmare for us. My case of Bipolar has been documented since I was a child. It is as real as a common cold.
@LaLune44 People who don't understand usually denies and dismiss the facts...Or they are in denial because either they suspect they have bipolar themselves or someone in their family has bipolar.
@dihle12 how would you suggest I wake up? Pretend I am not sick? That is something I tried before and you know what it got me in a lot of trouble. It is very real and it does run in my family. So how do I do this "Wake up" thing you are suggesting?
@dihle12 you're an idiot. Go back to kindergarten you good-for-nothing waste of space. It is a real disorder and many people deal with it. People i know have committed suicide because of bipolar disorder. Look it up anywhere and about more than a million people will prove your sorry ass wrong.
@dihle12 ,, I agree with you, I have been labeled bipolar and I know its a crock of shit, some people seem to love the attention of having a illness. The behavior associated with bipolar is completely normal and anybody could experience it under certain conditions, like chicks who are sad because they know there ugly or someone wants to suicide because there priest was a peddo, In my case my girl cheated on me and I never got over it. There is always cause, it's not a random disorder.
@tkathryyn ,, Grrrrrrrrrr I'M NOT CRAZY! .... I had a real reason to be upset for a very long time and its quite common, generally a heart break will take 10 years to heal. As for my mania side I get very enthusiastic talking about things I study & and are interested in, its just my personality I'm not boring, but I can be. Until someone can show me physical evidence I will not except the label. I'm not denying my heart was broken or that I'm excitable. I bet you have legit reasons too.

@Php48 Having a phase of "denial" is common. You will get there eventually and denial becomes acceptance.
