did you know that antipychotics which i as forced took a lot work as dopamine blockers? and my experience with them is similar than urs with ads. they took my emotions and even made me have difficulty with thinking. they even caused me not to stand balancely as i feel like falling down when standing. and much more like vision problems, shaking hands.. phyziccally and mentally they affected me horribly. i was forced to take them. i dont feel alive wit wantin anythin since taking them at all.
I've been on anti-depressants, anxiolytic and sleepting pills before. Now i take reishi, ho shou wu, tryptophan and some other things and i feel better than when i was on pharmaceuticals. The chinese tonic herbs are definately worth trying if you can afford it. Most of all, positive thinking, eat healthy food, meditate and exercise help tremendously.

@redharsam You're right. It's about the proper balance of serotonin and dopamine, among other neurotransmitters as well. Like GABA, norepinephrine, and endorphins as well.
When I hear the tone of your voice I instinctively want to hold your head on my chest and caress you on the head. :D i recommend you sun-glasses, you'll enjoy sunny days better, trust me.
Does anyone know if these chinese herbs or any herbs, that can help this, can be taken during pregnancy? Also does anyone have any more suggestions with herbs that will help and or has anyone gotten better from this naturally with or without herbs and what did you do to get better? Thanks :) God Bless all you sufferers-yes the truth will come out !
I really really suggest you start taking chinese tonic herbs to build back your hormones! Yin jing is equal to serotonin and yang jing is correlated to Dopamine. Search this herb called Mucuna Pruriens on youtube and youll see it will rise your dopamine again! try ittt!!!
Finally someone that can relate!I've been through 6yrs worth of holidays, birthdays, births without feeling-just like you!The only reason I've made it this far is because of God.No he didn't heal me of it no matter what I did(not that I expect him to).Stopped everything even church to be able to only focus on getting better(church friends don't support me in this)No..this is not depression, others may assume this.Surrendered to Wellbutrin-helps but not all the way so far-couldn't do it anymore:)
this is an acurate review i hate what ssri's did to me seroxat is pure poison the corporations make money off people being sick they dont want to cure anyone its there cash card hope you feel better soon i remember when i felt just like you do now
its not the end tho ive overcome most of what you are feeling i doubt ill be 100% the same again tho. if the adohenia is really bad try taking wellbutrin dopemine reuptake for awile it helped recover from adehonia then take vitamins and excersise
You are very intelligent and eloquent. I have been through the same thing with antidepressants since 2003. I have the same difficulty with the ssri's. A total blank stare. Not feeling. Loss of inspiration. I am so torn though because I have been fighting the people that say that I need these things and that they're good for me but I feel like my brain is in idle.
Very brave of you to share your experience with others.
Thank You

Ahh, just give depressed people methamphetamine in doses separate enough to eliminate tolerance and you got the problem solved. Just kidding.
