It is still possile to shoot a ball to a lock bubble, even if there's bubbles beneath the virus bubbles, but only in the first line (and of course they must not be on the way). If the lock bubble has a similar color bubble next to it, of course it helps, but it's definately unnecessary. I still haven't managed to pass this level, but only because I have ran out of bubbles to shoot... :( (And with some of them I have just made a plain mistake... Grrrr....)
This game needs better level designers. This level is impossible to beat unless you get insanely lucky like the guy in this video did, or buy charms. If you don't have the right colors underneath the keyholes, you've already lost the level before you even fire your first shot. Absolutely terrible game design.

I always have the wrong colours underneath the keys.I have extras byed,so i can see where i shoot and i can swap three balls in the boiler,but it works not...
@Gnafar11 Athough it seems impossible it's possible to break the locks without luck. make sure you bring the level down to the curse balls. then make some tight shots through and on the locks. it is possible
@Gnafar11 I really felt the same way too. But I kept trying at it and succeeded! You do need to have all of the bubbles cleared under the virus bubbles and when you go to fire the keyhole colors in, put your curser where the player in the video is and they will literally go up and over into the space. Now if they give you the right colors to pass the level after you get the chain down, that is a different story. Sometime it is very frustrating, but don't give up, you can do it!
@2007Appygirl I am 100% sure that you will make it on your own if you just ensure that all bubbles beneath the virus-bubbles are gone before you try those two tricky shots :)
