@bitlhninja I'm not saying that I like or endorse the idea of sitting and kicking, but I must say in this situation where, he already won the 3200m, sitting until the last lap or even 200 is smart. Now bitlhninia, I apologize if you are one of the runners that he outkicked because a lot of the time that is me as well.

@PrairieRunner He does this every race. He lets someone else lead until like 400m to go and then kicks it. I doesn't matter if its 3200m or 1600m.

@bitlhninja This is the state meet. You run to win and you don't take the lead in a race if the pace is decent, which it was. If you have the capability to run at a decent pace for 3 or 7 laps then burn a field at a meet where it's more about place than time, more power to you.
