Very clear and concise learning tutorials. I love Sony Video Quality. I have a Sony FX 1 but I'd like to move to a tapeless format. Sony has decided to drop 3CCD cameras and I think that's a big mistake. There are panasonic cameras out there, but DVCPRO is problemic for working with Sony Vegas Pro Software. Canon's 3CCD cameras are still mini dv. So, this, the fact it uses SD cards, it's 3ccd, well, I never considered JVC before, but I am now. Again, great videos, I've actually learned stuff

I'm trying to decide whether to get this camera or the panasonic AG-HMC150, which has 1/3" CCD sensors. How much picture quality or low light proficiency am I forfeiting with the JVC's 1/4" sensors?

I am very curious to know why you prefer to shoot at 720 rather than 1080? Is this preference particular to this camera? Thanks
