kaberle+both 2nd round picks to TB for the 1st round pick..sign both sedins..draft either hedman or tavares with the 2nd then a good forward with the 7th = playoffs

its will take more than Kaberle and 2 second round picks to get #1 and the Leafs don't want Hedman they want Tavares so i think it will take at least Kaberle , stajan , poni and their first round #7 to get #1 and get Tavares , problem with Sedins is they most likely will never want to split up so i think Gaborik would be a better signing that way they have a real sniper ! if he stays healthy he could score 50 and a line like Tavares Gaborik and umm Blake that would be a great first line

i disagree with you partly i jeff carter is a great hockey player the leafs need to keep some of its veterans in the rebuilding process so the older experienced players can help out the younger guys you just cant have a team full of youth you need some veterans in the team for the leader ship. Kaberle is pretty good with the ledership and has great defensive abilities. They just need better draft and i hope Brian Burke can make the better draft for the years come. Jeff Carter had 46 goals this season.....that was 2nd best in the NHL...Kaberle hasn't been the same since Janssen ran him into the boards.

Maybe but you need his leadership hes been with the leafs for such a long time u need some veteran pressents in a team to help the rookies. Kubina is pretty good i hope he stays but in every team u must have a leader. Look at calgary there leader is jarome iginla he helps out younger player in the team he works hard he do all the things that will get him goals and usually younger players follow. But good for carter i would like that in the leafs to get a goal scorer.
