  • Dude... Man, I just... very well developed piece of music. Really evolves into a powerful phrase around 6:40. Anyone?

  • This song talks to me. Literally. There's voices in it when you zone out long enough...

  • моя молодость ) оху,,,,,,,еная песенка)всем поzitива))

  • lol the dude on the right has a sweaty pit

  • Listen to this with Gashing the Old Mae West by Severed Heads layered over the top.

  • I love how they look super normal. If picked out of the crowd, most people would guess they are like mechanical engineers or something.

  • @LIGHTRONIX And if you'd let them hear some of their music, some would still think that =D

(no offense, big ae fan here)

  • @LIGHTRONIX

Exactly you would think that when listening to their music as well & in some respects they are true engineers for the auditory part of the brain ! d;o))

  • I love the way they toy with bringing back the ... tone? can let it just playout for 30 seconds then just sneak in 70% of a note in, and ....back in ... :) you think you have a comfortable sway but it keeps you guessing - the sort of stuff that makes me smirk when listening to good music.

  • This is really something else. What a great track!

  • Chiastic Slide is my favourite. This track is a haunted forest on another planet.

  • fucking brilliant. love ae

  • autechre is great to listen to while taking really long walks

  • in my opinion, chiastic slide is the deepest album from autechre, i almost cry :D

  • @OcelottMaster

i feel ya I have done on a few occassions with cipater & tracks of lp5 ! Love the boys booth & brown d;o))

  • I like it when Ae has a loop element, repetition but progression. I'm not into their more experimental stuff, maybe in some years heh.

Great track, just discovering it. Like what Ae's discography surely has loads of pearls waiting for me ;)

  • @ilt17 yeah - when i first listened to draft 7.30 i couldn't bear it. it was another year before i played it again and only then with difficulty. but i persisted until finally 1 day i "got it" and now i take it to be their best work. persistence is what i say ; )

  • FUCK, how did I miss this album during my last autechre binge?!

  • una de las mejores melodias electrónicas de uno de los mejores albumes de la electrónica. Geniales

  • MASTERPIECE! I will ALWAYS play this song to work out with! Fucking BRILLIANT!

  • i think this was my favo track for a very long time.

Chiastic Slide is just a GREAT album.

I really like the repetitive element in this track. Its really a flow!

    Great stuff

  • That's amazing...

  • great stuff

  • i admit that this version ive downloaded on youtube is nothng compared to the stereo quality version from the CD. I don't know why, but everytime I upload a song, there's problems with bad quality. You'd definetly change your mind if you heard this song the way it was meant to be heard

  • but thank

  • that's from 1995, and still today, i think it's a master piece. Listen to chiastic slide in cd, whit headphones. AAArrr !!

  • 1997

  • @LackingLack0 Yes. Repetition is a characteristic of Ambient music. If you sit here trying to listen to it, you'll hate it. But if you treat it like ambient music, put it on and do something else, you'll like it a lot more. Also, with music like this headphones make a Huge difference.

  • My absolute favourite of all their work. Chiastic Slide is monumental for me, personally.

  • I love this pattern & texture.

  • nice beat

  • YEEEah chiastic slide!
