@Sirafrican This is true. They're in high demand due to lack of interest. The joke in this clip is a very real stereotype that turns people off to playing bass. And because of that, few people play bass and even fewer play it well. Guitarists are a dime a dozen. You throw a rock into a crowd of people and you'll likely hit a guitarist. On top of being hard to come by, bassists are also generally under appreciated.
