They find ways off getting away with paying the minimum of taxes, by either using. offshore accounts, safety security box's or there own private banks. ummmm we American citizens have to present ID and insurance almost every time we get pulled over. Our ID's prove that we're legal citizens of this country, cuz u cant get a state ID without presenting ur birth certificate, so yeah. Our ID's prove that we're legal citizens of this country, cuz u cant get a state ID without presenting ur birth certificate, so yeah. I think the U.S should enforce a death penalty on this situation.
If the illegal is involved with looting, gangs, drugs, and ECT, the death penalty shoue be enforced.

coming from a town in southern new jersey with a very high illegal migrant worker population, i have to say that my opinions are mixed. i do feel that having my taxes go to healthcare and possible social security for illegal immigrants is ridiculous. on the other note, i personally know an illegal immigrant who is currently working very hard to become legal. there are people here to make lives for themselves, and people here that are ruining it for the hardworking immigrants.

The Mexican drug cartels would not have an impact in this country if it wasn't for their American counterparts to trade with. We should try and crack down on the drug problem...for the immigrants that ARE actually causing problems and violence. But the vast majority of these people are not drug dealers. think about that.

We were told the last time we gave amnesty to the illegal immigrants that the borders would be secure so there wouldnt be another wave of illegal immigrants to deal with. We were lied to. If we are to grant amnesty to this wave of illegals we should secure the borders first then discuss wether or not we will give amnesty. The 11 million illegals who are here are here because they or their parents chose it

It is a broken system and the pathway to citizenship is nowhere near as visible as many make it out to be. If it were as easy as we make it sound, then there would not be 11 million undocumented immigrants in this country. They should not be penalized because of our failure to fix our broken system.

@razamex23 You seem to ignore the fact that what blocked the illegal immigrants chances of becoming citizens was the fact that they decided that they didn't want to follow our laws in the first place. we as a nation cannot allow foreign nationals to dictate what our policy on immigration is. Our system of naturalizing people is only flawed for those who have to wait. If you think our system is flawed look at Mexico's immigration policy for those who want to immigrate from their southern border.

You have the moniker RAZAMEX and now you want people to NOT make a connection to you and the group LA RAZA. Of course we base our immigration policy on those people and the people who are to come in the future! what else is there? I'm aware of the flaws of the immigration system in Mexico, but that does excuse the flaws in ours. If you were from a border state you would have a different opinion...documented or not these people have roles in our communities and contribute to our economy even when they aren't on the books!

Of course we need to secure the borders. I don't support entering illegally, but some are left with no choice due to our BROKEN system, and due to conditions in their home countries that neither you nor I could begin to understand. Opportunity is here for them, even in a lifestyle without legal documentation.

I suggest that we fine those who merely broke the law by entering and make sure that they can never obtain citizen status. But those who work under the table and not pay their fair share in employment taxes and those who obtain false identification, which is a felony, should be fined and then deported. They can't afford the fines or the wait to cross the borders because all they want is to make a better life for their families.
