I really like this video, it helps alot. I had land nav before during my outdoor day but never encounter some of the terms you used such as the 4 minor ones that youmentioned. Would you mind writing the words down or flash it out? Maybe on your next updated videos? Maybe you'll come up soon using a LCD Projector? Thanks again.
Sorry for the last comment, I figured it out in the next video, you explained it well. Thanks again so much for your great videos and your service sir!
Thanks so much for your great video! And your service to our country! One quick question. So what exactly is the difference between a draw and a valley? The draw has water? Is it just a difference in elevation between the two? Because if they are both just the place between two hills then i don't really understand the difference. Thanks for helping me out!

Hey Sgt, thanks for making your videos. I just finished watching all of them. I'm used to using charts for water nav where we used lat/long. After 11 years I switched over to the AF. So now I need to use both lat/long and MGRS. Your videos really help cement the MGRS system..thank you again.
Great tutorial. I was an Air Force flier now a military cadet trainer. This is perfect to help me train these young cadets. Kudos to you sir and thank you for your service!!!
Don't pay any attention to negative feedbacks brother, remember Rome wasn't built over night, but never-the-less, it was built! I Think this is one of the best teachings I have seen on Youtube and there is alot of potential there, You're helping a lot of people brother, keep going.
Outstanding video lecture! Anybody considering the military as a career needs to know this and more. Looks like the lecturer was Air Assault Infantry. I was a RTO from 1980 to 1983 ... Straight Leg.
@sargefaria I am sure you are an Outstanding NCO that will keep his troops well skilled in the warrior crafts. Some people think being a warrior is all brawn and not brains; this is one of the many skills that will keep a warrior in the fight. You demonstrate the professionalism of soldiering. These videos would be great tools for post enlistment before going off to basic training. From 1986 to 1991, I was an AH-1F Cobra Crew Chief. BTW ... Thanks for the service
@njneopatriot Thank you for your service. I'll be attending basic training at Fort Sill this May and I'll be doing Airborne training at Benning in August.
hey derek great job brother!!! nothing against spannermuts, as he seem to be knowledgeable on the subject, but i have never done any land nav before and this seems to be helping me understand what all is going on! thanks bro keep em coming!!!
No offense taken brother....we are all here to learn together. This was however, as simple as I could explain what I explained. It is basic map reading after all. I am about to shoot the next video in the series and hopefully I can clear up anything that was quite clear in that one. Thanks for the comment tho it is much appreciated!
wow!! it was gr8!!! I never knew it was so easy.. thanks a lot!! u're a great teacher!! :)

it is also important to mention that if elevation lines are close toghether means the terrain is steep and vice versa.
