Well Sir I just watched 3 of your reviews, all excellent work! I am an edged weapons collector/outdoors enthusiast, the Nordic Bear II will have to be in my collection (the Nordic Bear at 3-5/8" is a bit short for me),your review of the other brand knife (mirror polished-green handle) was also good but the Nordic Bear brand seems a more serious no frills and solid blade, putting my order after this comment! Very well done review! You gave gained another subscriber! :-) I too have this knife and it is absolutely fantastic. It is the best knife I've ever owned. I've put it through some hardcore use over the last year and it still looks as good as it did out of the box.

Went to the website and saw he had a version 2 of this knife and I ordered one on the spot it is as slick a knife as you could ask for. I also ordered the bamboo handle since I already have a couple with bamboo and they work really well.

Good review. If I may a couple of comments. As much as you like this knife check out the Brisa Enzo 75 folder, they make it in a full scandi grind and it is almost a dead ringer in profile to this knife. It would make a great pocket edc to this knife. Also in my 60 years I have found that if you carve using the portion of the blade closest to the tang you greatly increase your leverage and it is much easier. I noticed you were way out on the end of the blade which greatly decreases your leverage
