Actually they sort of did and they sort of didn't. When you look at the Final Fantasy X Shiva, they took parts some of the previous Shivas. FFIX and FFVIII. So they sort of did redo the animation, they just mixed it in with the other one, when making the FFX shiva at least I think XDDDD.

Shiva is my fav too! When the game first came out, Final Fantasy III, I found this beautiful statue of her in a attack pose but I couldn't buy it at the time cause I had no money. Almost ten years later, I'm looking for it to buy. IT's super super rare!! :-( I can't find it!
