man this game looks fantastic. too bad, thats really its only selling point. It would have been nice if they really fleshed out an engaging story with characters that were a little more than tired cliches, and some more interesting gameplay elements to break up the linear gameplay.

If the resolution was 1400x900 you will get 720p, I dont see it, so you dont run it that high, you may even dont run it at maximum garphics. Guys, wake up thats fake maximum settings!

I have the exact same set up as you dude except i got 3.8ghz on 1.25vcore and have the 1gb version of the hd4850. Crysis 2 seem to stop scaling at 3ghz tho.

@The135moura I can at this res on win xp :-). What i meant is that there is no difference in frame rate from 3ghz upwards. I just prefer playing at 1920x1080 on very high. Imo the difference form very high to extreme is minimal but the difference between 1400x900 ti 1920x1080 is huge! :-)

Ive got DC2 wolfdale @3.6ghz, 1gb hd4850(sapphire),and 3.5 gigs of ram.i have yet to find a game I cant run on max settings and max res.except when I try to run my games @ 1920x1080,I get a one inch border around my screen and I dont know how to get rid of it,maybe in my windows settings.so i leave it @ 1600x1200,that way I dont lose 2 inches of screen.and this game is less demanding than the original.so unless you are running on vista,you should rock crysis 1@2 easy

@razekery yes, but ddr3 usually has a higher clock but also higher hz. This means that 6-6-6-24 ddr3 1600 canstill be faster then for instance 4-4-4-12 ddr2 800. :)
