    He, the black flute player, made me forget my consciousness.

    The butter thief, the child of Chieftain Nand, has stolen my mind and made me forget my consciousness.

    2nd Stanza

    On the banks of the river he twisted my arm and when I objected he broke my earthen pot.

    I touched his feet and pleaded with him but he just turned a deaf ear and did not listen to me.

    He made me forget my consciousness, the black flute player !! Contd..
