simple resolution for the horses is to get some brave people with heavy blunt (preferably metal) objects to knock the horse's legs out when it gets up to stride and make it flip over forewards and dump onto the rider resulting in a delightfully tenderized pig (the horse might even limp away)

And of what I know about police on horseback, when something like this occurs, they are only there if it is anything but peacefull. Right i think everyone has a right to protest - but a peaceful protest! - I'm a student myself and the amount of violence here is just unacceptable - Because we were violent we actually lost the support of more people rather than gained any. The police were a little heavy handed and brutal in some cases but in others i would say we deserved it. There is no excuse for this sort of behavior.

I don't think as many people should go but that's a different issue - those that do get to go shouldn't just be those with rich daddies who can afford to pay for it. If you only let the rich go to uni, you inevitably reduce the average intelligence of students, which will hold us back on so many levels.

Natural talent is one thing but it needs to be cultivated. It just depends on whether you think only those with rich parents should be allowed to cultivate their talents or whether everyone should have the opportunity
