I was just watching the new introduced Xbox 360 interface and was blown away by it.

I dont own a Xbox360 or a PS3 and still undecided right now, my heart tells me i want a PS3 but my brain tells me to choose Xbox.

I'm afraid though, the loading time might be a bit long, as the "sync operation" for all your friends trophies would have to be done right after selecting the friend... maybe that should be an option. Otherwise, it looks really awesome!

the friends list thing is nice but technically its unfavorable for sony to implement it that way. it would require the ps3 to retrieve the info per user so it would require a loading dial where it says all the trophy information and an increase in bandwidth. psn is free so those overhead costs really do add up.

In theory this is perfection, and i would love to see it implemented. Everything clear and neatly organised to fit with the xmb's minimalist style. However Sony obviously has more going on backend than this. Even if they were to implement it, once you went to the trophy panel you would sit for 45 seconds waiting for everything to load. I dont think this kind of this is possible without a total overhaul of how trophys are retrieved from sony's servers. Very nicely done though.

yea that trophy card idea was pretty nifty, but Sony is most likely going to integrate their own playstation card information, not the one you have, eventually. Reason for it not showing then is cause they wasn't ready and needed to have feedback. all sites do the same with updates. They release it early so they can get feedback and make tweaks along the way.
