So carry a cane it is lethal if used properly and you can use it for so many uses other than just walking wack an ankle and they are not gonna be able to run and they are easy to identify as the limp. A decent umbrella serves as a good weapon too.
And like my instructor taught us the best fight was the one you avoided. Play it smart park where you can be seen carry a cane be aware if you really feel it is necessary carry a gun better to live to explain why than get shot in the cell phone.

So many people show demonstrations with slow-motion attackers helpfully holding still as the "master" proceeds to kung-fu the piss out of them. Unless the person you're practicing with is prepared to actually fight back - at full speed - then the techniques you're doing are just fantasy.

Marc's experiences in his teens taught him how to win against the punk by being unconventional. That showed me I can too.
I think that this guy knows a lot about a real fight. I have done many types of martial art like aikido,iaido,jujutsu,and fillipino style. There were many bull shit tecniques in those and most "martial artists" just practice and practice and practice those bull shit tecniques .I am worried about that. I live in Juarez, Mexico where many streets are very dangerous and can conclude that his concepts could benefit the average citizen living anywhere. He is very insightful. His best book is "Violence, Blunders, and Fractured Jaws: A Guide to Street Etiquette".

this is why he stresses avoidance of knife fights in his books and videos.
he wants to show how it happens so we can take steps to avoid it. it's not at all like a conventional stand up and fight with fists.
