this is so sweet, i got a bit teary! my baby is 9 months old and i have breastfed her with a nipple shield since she was born, introducing formula top ups at 5 and a half months. i keep thinking i will stop breastfeeding soon, it feels as though we are coming to the end, but i know i will miss it so i am putting it off
I love this.It made me cry though:)I'm currently tandem nursing my 3 year old and my 15month old.I nursed my older 2 boys until they were 2.I have loved every minute and so have they!

I have seven children from 15 down to 2 - all of them were breastfed, the shortest amount of time was my fifth born - she self weaned at 13 mo - the longest was my 2nd born - 45 months :) - we had to throw her a "weaning feast" :)... My baby will be 3 next month, and she's still nursing. the first year it's nutrition, the second year, immunity, and the third year is comfort :) Besides the benefits for baby - it's a good way to keep the prolactin flowing :)
Brought me to weeping tears. I had the most wonderful moments with my daughter while nursing. I loved the mother who said both of her children are secure adults. Thank you for this!
what would I have said to the new mama me???? There will not be one second you regret. And you can't see it right now but those three wee babes you are nursing now? They are fine, wonderful, amazing adults. Enjoy it now because there will be a moment when all of you will ache to go back to those sweet moments ♥
I love it too.. Amy, it's Arla here. I'm breastfeeding a fat little 11-month old girl right now and we both love it, it's just so special. Not even necessarily from a nutritional standpoint, but just emotionally! With my first baby it was hard in the beginning, but thank God my Mom was around (The Breastfeeder From Hell:) and she helped Andy and I get started. Otherwise I probably would've given up. Her encouragement to breastfeed was the greatest gift she ever gave me!
I love the fact that we've made it 3 months so far and going strong! Best decision and fight of my life. Thank you for the lovely video. All the support out there for breastfeeding really does help encourage us to keep it up.
