  • hi again ay

what is the NRM edition limited number?

i have the millenium edition limited number of 2000, and just purchased the presentation edition witht he coaches that is limited of 5000 too.

just wondering how many nrm editions there are out there.

  • @benjokazooie Mine's one of the very low cert numbers. The NRM have done numerous ltd ed with both Hornby & Bachmann. For full list contact the NRM, Hornby, Bachmann. Also worth looking in Ramseys model trains catalouge for more details.

  • why dont my trains dcc

watch my vids and u will see run that smooth

  • @jmsschooner Have done. Keep the track & all wheels & contacts clean, make sure rail joiners are nice & tight. Try putting in extra track power feeds or a power bus.

  • i would never run steam with modern deisels sorry but im just one of them set era people who like it all to be right

  • I thought the 60s and 70s saw both steam and deisels? Did BR buy a bad batch of deisels or something so they had to continue using the old locos?

  • The end for steam on BR was in 1968.Then there was a total ban on steam for a bit(I think). After that steam specials & charters started running along side diesel's & electrics again.Diesel's & electrics have been running along side steam for many many years before 1968.Cheers.

  • What time period are you modelling?

  • @tiaandchole Well there's the transition period for starters, with both diesel, steam & electric. Then as on the real real railways, modern day steam charters etc. Diesels & electrics have run along side steam much further back than many people realise, & i'm talking well before the transition period!!
