This locomotive is a BLI C16. it is fitted with a QSI sound decoder, straight from the box.

Excellent! I look forward to seeing more videos of this fine layout. Question: why are the tracks in the staging area painted white?

Answer : Why not? This part of the layout will be covered by Allentown station, on a board 2/3'above. I want to be able to see the tracks of the stagging area, and also loose parts that could be on it.
