@Barkymanschnouzers - there is someone that you see daily that needs everything or anything that you could possibly want to share... there is a person standing on a corner that we try not to see, s/he needs you (us) also - how do i know? i am one of them
The statistics are all real, and come from several sources. The majority come from a 2006 UNICEF report on children and poverty. Additional sources include Samaritan's Purse, International Aid, Lutheran World Relief, The Salvation Army and the International Red Cross. Data on the national debt and Wal-Mart come from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and the 2007 Wal-Mart Annual Report.
Yes, I would also like to know where this info came from... Fortunately, much of it simply cannot be true. My heart aches for the great suffering that does take place in this world, though.
@303LT - start by talking and sharing what little you have - pray for these before you leave your house or school and then watch for them - the smallest things are the best gifts. kind words and/or food... a shared prayer... don't preach too much, listen more, listen with your heart... Papa (God) will guide your steps...
Thank you for this video -- very exhortative. I'd like to humbly suggest correcting the typo in "measels", and also asking about the "heart worms" statistic, since that's not really a human disease. I might suggest replacing it with tuberculosis; there were globally 17 deaths every 5 minutes in 2007.
I saw this video at Unveiled09 this past week - Dr. David Platt shared it with us. Thanks for making it...really forces you to think about how to make the next five minutes different. Grace and Peace.

I agree with the message of the video; but I was wondering how or where you compiled your information from.
