i legit thought this was from the 80s. 80s or from now, it's still awesome. i have a 10sec clip on my cell phone and listen to it whenever i need a pick me up.
Beck was a featured artist on Rage a few years back and this was one of the videos he selected, amongst other sweet vids... Had it not been for his quirky taste in music I probably would have passed this gem by.
Good man! ---There's enough online places and radio stations you can listen to music for free on, i.e hype machine, lastfm etc... but if you want it you should pay for it, I have friends who produce tracks and they don't get much (way under half of the price you pay) after the store, the taxman and the label take their share!!!
Man these dudes were ahead of there time,Look at all the chump ass fashion theses days compared to the funk days of the 90s,Les rythmes has even made 80s music sound cool...OMG
man that video is awesome. You need to see it on a proper TV though to fully appreciate the subtle camera changes that make it so authentic. Troo dat!
This was the jam about 6 years ago. I used to bump this in my headphones as I made my way across campus back in my college days. This brings back a lot of good memories...thanks for posting this.

I bought this album when it was first released and it took me fucking YEARS to 'get' it properly. Way ahead of it's time.

Some influences I noticed were from
1. Devo - 'Through being cool' video
2. Michael Jackson - 'Billie Jean' splitscreen
3. Vanilla Ice - Ice,Ice Baby video with graf in background
4. Wildstyle Cover - Long shot at end
