wow, didnt even know about all those legal issues, quite interesting. But you are right, ubisoft isnt doing a great job with the turtles license, Konami was that much better. They dont seem to know what makes games fun. Just put an buttonmasher game with Turtles slapped on it out, and wait for the fanboys to buy it. Maybe Im a bit too bitter, but what they did to turtles in time was pure blasphemy. The gameplay of the original one had so much more deepth, and it was more fun+looked better

I went through this game without losing any lives "once" but it was the most nerve wrecking thing ever cuz I could feel my pride kicking in when I was close to dying.

I always found Krang to be the toughest boss because of how tough it was to beat him without hemorrhaging lives.

Conversely, I've been able to kill the polar bear without losing a single life.

I disagree with the TMNT games and Earthbound VC release being impossible. If anything, they are one of the most likely contenders for a Virtual Console then anything with licensing or legal issues. At least they have a shot of being on the Virtual Console. Also, Earthbound has an ESRB rating, so I expect North American will get it next year. And if we're lucky, we may also see the TMNT games start to come next year.

Tora the Polar Beast (who is actually more wolf-like than polar bear-like) is the hardest boss in the game? HA! I have a foolproof method of stomphing a mudhole into that jerk for you, kNIGHTWING01. All that you have to do is to use your dropkick move on him and then use it in the opposite direction on him but you have to do it lots of times AND in quick succession to pull it off, too. By the way, Shogun is the toughest boss in this game, and he is also a cheater with that flying head, too.

Yeah we had a tough time with the bear because, My wife was playing. Later I beat the game using the Jump attack. But from her point of view the bear was well a bear! XD

there is actually a very easy way to beat the bear thing with jump kicks, I think he's one of the easiest bosses, I would make a video of it but I'm new to recording video games for youtube

Wow K-wing. I never comment on youtube videos but I just had to say something here. The bear boss (Tora) of stage 3 was the hardest boss in the game??!! Really?! He was by faaaaaaaar the easiest boss in the entire game. All you have to do is quick jump kick him back and forth.

@chuppachoppa Yes he was usually vulnerable when the ice ball was about to land on his hands. EEEEEEEEAAAASSSSYYYY! The hardest to me was Krang IMO of course.

Earthbound might have a shot of being released on VC. From what i have heard, Reggie and some lawyers are currently trying to sort everything out about the copyrights. It might take a little while though, there is ALOT to sort through.

Best idea is to run? Hell no! Just use the two button attack. It's easy and very effective once you get used to it.

Man, I can't believe that Konami lost the license to Ubisoft. If Ubisoft can't make a great Turtles game, then I say that Konami needs to get the rights back and make an 2D High Definition Beat-em Up. I really want to see the Ninja Turtles games on the Wii Virtual Console, but Ubisoft is really getting on my nerves because of it! Grr!!! X(

If a remake was possible, then I vote for a 2D High Definition remake of it and not like what Reshelled is. But still, Ubisoft can't make a decent Turtles game. Maybe Arcade Attack, but that doesn't say much.

me too i agree its no wonder why konami havent released turtles II the arcade game, turtles in time the old-school version not to be confused with the crappy re-shelled version and the other old turtles games on the wii virtual console the only turtle game we got on the wii virtual console was the first nes turtles game man that really sucks balls konami lost the license to ubisoft why couldnt ubisoft share the license of the turtles games to konami or something

I believe it's likely we'll see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Games and TMNT 3: The Manhatten Project. The rest are questionable, but all do have a shot of seeing an Virtual Console release.
