The save really screwed everything up. Katie was getting better and better every week. I still think that she would still be there (Top 4) had the save not been used on Mike. She has the best recording voice of all the contestants and is ready to make a record right now. I will be the FIRST in line to buy her cd, but I think she should follow Simon's advice and go the country/pop route. That is where I think she'll have the most success.

@amc7304 She's from Connecticut, therefore she WILL NOT go country. The reason is that unless you specifically turn on a Country station, you will not hear country music, because country songs are not played AT ALL in local radio stations in Connecticut. The only country artist that I recently heard was Rascall Flatts and Carrie Underwood way back

Katie was not my favorite nor do I think she had the most talent but I was very sad to see her go. I think because of her age she had the most room to grow and develop. She also would have been one of the most marketable -- she has the look and the voice for a pop-star. She actually looks and sounds quite a bit like JoJo, I was surprised she never picked one of her songs.

I think we should judge based on their performances not on the studio versions. In my opinion the best on stage are Michael Lynche and Siobhan Magnus. I also really like Aaron. I think they are top 3... but this is just my opinion.

If you compare all the studio versions of the contestants, Katie has by far the best RECORDING voice. Live shows, shes not the best but she definitely has the potential to be. I cant believe she was in the bottom 3 this week, but Im pretty sure she will shine next week as it is R&B week and her voice fits that style the most from all the other contestants. PLEASE PLEASE vote for her, she deserves to stay as long as possible!

I love her voice too. She sounds So good in the studio versions of American Idol and her own songs "Bubbly" Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "The Climb." on this site.. I think she loses her confidence with the sometimes very tough criticism from the judges and doesn't sing as well as when she's recording.. I can't stop listening to her!
