Andy was a true inspiration for me. I'm with the U.S. Navy and during my last cruise I re-watched all of season 1 and hefted myself to the gym daily for those 7 months deployed to the Gulf. I tried to emulate him for I saw a genuine man that was humble, kindhearted, and had a colossal spirit. I thought to myself if he can do it, why can't I? I only just now heard he passed.... His presence is sorely missed, and my thoughts go out to his family, friends, and children.

I read online somewhere that Season 2 (not the prequel - gods of the arena) but Blood and sand season 2, was not made... his cancer came back, and it is supposed to be alot worse, so they coulden't even film season 2...

I know someone who got cancer in three different regions of his body, and when he was finally in remission, he was struck by lightning. He's alive and kicking today. People bounce back from worse things, not saying non-Hogkins is not serious. It is exremely serious to follow treatment. But, with his amount of fitness and the fact that he was healthy before it occured, there is a very high chance he will beat the cancer. I hope he does. There is no other Spartacus in my eyes.
