  • Thank you so much I've been doing push ups since summer started and now I lost about 50 pound's of weight. I notice I'm more athletic and have more strength in me when i go to be a freshmen on August 23 and Thank again.

  • @carlmansson Should've been more specific lol you're not supposed to point your elbows outwards when you go down doing normal pushups. Forearms are supposed to remain neutral, not in motion, but everything else moves. Look up "correct way to do pushups" and you'll know what I mean.

  • How will doing pushups give you shoulder problems?

  • @bonsai13100 Because if you do a pushup with your hands positioned in the wrong spot, it'll stress your rotator cuff (Rotator cuff is a group of tendons on the top of your shoulder) and it'll become very tender. I had this problem when I first started working out, you can get minor to severe tendonitis based on how much stress you put on it...it isn't just push ups that can do this either...so I'd work on form more than anything.

  • I thought "quad clap" would mean 4 claps while you push off... I was like, shit are you really gonna do that and put me to shame? Then i realised quads stood for quadriceps =) Anyways, props on your form, and never quit training.

  • @NIFootie2010 NOTHING will help you lose fat, except for a PROPER DIET. And that does not mean eating nothing but veg, and not eating after 6 p.m. Your protein, carbohydrate and fat intake should be calculated and put on to practice. Aerobic training will help you burn more calories, but it wont help, unless your calorie INTAKE is adjusted to a perfect value FOR YOU. Strength training is useful in a way, that muscles require lots of energy to maintain. More muscle = more calories burned.

  • HOLY!!! This seems to be a lot harder than it actually looks...I've tried diamond and spider-man push ups and I get tired easily.

    Just one question, with these routines...can you actually get a nice muscely chest??? Cuz I've heard push-ups only make the chest look defined but you don't really gain muscle and get it bigger...only with dumbells, is it true?

  • Everybody do this every other day.3 sets a day,no rest and one minute rest between each set.ten for each exercise.If it's too easy bump it up to 15.

  • @Fenerlipokemon push ups only work triceps. Tirceps are the back part of your arm. biceps are the front part and major part of your muscle. Triceps however on this guy is usually good and makef you stronger.Keep hyrdrated and take breaks over working your muscles just waste your work out

  • dude ur only 10 dont worry bout the muscles first grow to ur max and allow your muscles to grow and than u can really get ur muscles bigger by douing pushups now ull get strength...

  • @XxgamekidXD wait till you are at least 15 before you start lifting weights. you don't have the necessary muscles or hormones yet. also, you're bones and cartilage won't be able to take it yet, so you'll end up badly inured pretty fast.

    All of these pushups are a great way to overload the triceps and chest!

  • beginner bodybuilders????? wow! that can be quite misleading in that someone might think they can do this straight up with no prior training.... some of these are quite advanced and will really fatigue your muscles after a couple of sets....

  • yeah, i suppose it's all relative ay.... but definitely great exercises for overloading or supersets... and also great for working out in the absence of a gym or equipment - e.g. ME!

  • on the spider pushups thats the easier variation. The hard or advanced variation is where you do the same movement with your arms but you bring you knee closest to your elbow up so it actualy looks like your climbing a wall... nice vid though
