ya, grandmothers are absolutely brilliant that way. Granny's have no sense of time tho, which I suspect is has something to do with your last line.

Brilliant! That is a truly memorable last line. My grandmother said things like that all the time. When she watched on her television (she was Pentecostal and that wasn't allowed, you see, but noone dared make that clear to Grannie) when the first man stepped foot on the moon... she turned to my mother and exclaimed in her deadpan way, "nothing but Hollywood." I miss her though I only knew her as a little child.
