@AndrewKH85 the elixer was already put on her accidentally when the kids were fighting over it..it dropped a little on her, hence why she left the table. it made her alive..the ring just made her real, and prob did not turn her to stone because it was her curse or something

I don't believe anyone speaks ancient Egyptian, they only figured out how to read it after they found a rock translating a bunch of it into ancient Greek and it doesn't have letters that you could interpret sounds from phonetically. I don't think they know what the words actually sound like.

The main villian, Capel-Smith, was wearing the ring so his clothes took a change from the suit he was wearing to the garb from ancient egypt. His greed for immortality was his undoing
