This is the stuff i grew up watching as a kid! incredible production values in this series for CCTV in the 90s in my opinion, everything from the music to the costumes to the screenwriting is really of the highest standard and period authenticity.
It makes me sad to see the new Water Margin series fall so short. Looks like absolute trash.
@MrQianli dialogue probably makes no sense if it is translated into english, also it will take someone who knows both languages really well to do a good job
