  • There's alot of unreleased Lynyrd Skynyrd songs. I wish they would release them. They're from their early days. I had a CD of some of the old released songs, but it's gone. If anyone out there knows anything, especially about a song about where when he was young, he wanted to play his guitar so he left home to become famous and when he came back home his mom and dad were in the grave and he's singing to them. It's an awesome, awesome song.

  • @sxyredjelybean Its called was I right or wrong. Maybe look under Skynyrds First, Im sure someone put that song on youtube. And that song was not about Ronnie Van Zant, but other band members.

  • Thats Johnny...

  • First time ever listening to this. Beautiful......

  • @itsnotinthisbox This is Skynyrd with Johnny Van Zant.

  • If that is not Skynyrd, I'll kiss my own ass, eat my hat and meet you at the court house square and piss in my own mouth.

  • That is unmistakeably Johnny VanZant! It just didnt make the final cut for a C.D.

  • This is Johnny. No doubt! OutlawBluesman

  • if thats not a skynyrd song, why did Hughie Thomasson play it live with skynyrd as a intro to sweet home alabama?

  • Hugie Thomasson is not a member of Lynyryd Skynyrd. The band ended 10/20/77. You are thinking of the rip off tribute band

  • so you were on the plane with them if you were with them since 67??? get some earpieces. If you can't hear johnnys voice, u've got problems

  • @yconsulting - it IS a Skynyrd song my friend. It was released on the "Twenty" cd in Japan. Look for it. It's there.

  • @yconsulting It could have been skynyrd its jun unreleased so yes it could be them they just didnt put on the record

  • that's not skynyrd.....I know...been w/ em since 67

  • ...che meraviglia!!!!...spero che venga pubblicata.

  • joliverjohnson is right its a song about Allen Collins

  • It's a bonus track off of the overseas (Japanese, I think) version of the "Twenty" album.

  • where to get this song in good quality

  • hughie thamasson plays this song so good it sometimes sheds a tears from my eye

  • Hughie Thomasson was the best!

  • Its not Skynyrd It's a Johnny Van Zant number from the days when Johnny could write some origonal and great tunes.

  • dude this is hughie

  • TRUE STORY!!

  • I love this song! Wish they would play this on my radio! I also wish it was recorded more clear so when i play it on the stereo (hooked up to computer) it would jam more clear. Not your fault though-it's a oldie.
