The sound of the SRBs soaring back to earth is so eerie in some places - I've only just discovered the videos of the separation with the cameras on the SRBs and can't stop watching them now, I'm mesmerised! Also love that now and again you can see the wisp of where the shuttle has launched from, sort of puts into perspective just how fast the shuttle is moving.
What I was wondering though, I'm such a noob, how does NASA track where the SRBs land? Do they always land in roughly the same spot?
