  • Nice video....

I flew to HNL once a year from 1996 to 2006 & I always flew ATA. Great crews, great service & never any delays. Last year I flew American to HNL & it was one of the WORST flights I have ever flown. American, United, Delta & the rest aren't fit to wallow in ATA's jet blast!

    LONG LIVE ATA!

  • 2 Years...GodSpeed ATA !

  • Wow, nice vid you got of Ewa Beach's Ocean Pointe, Campbell High, and Iroquois Point!

I grew up in Ewa (and still am) always watching the airplanes pass overhead. :]

  • how did you get back?

  • back to where? anyone would rather call Hawaii "home" :)

  • this was EXACTLY 1 Year Ago......

  • ahh, i see.. if you are able, show him this video too, or give him the link.

  • We always flew ATA from LAX to OGG. Loved the early departure and early arrival in Kahului because you still had the whole day for fun! And ATA always served a great breakfast on that flight.

We all miss that great airline.

  • Sad at 2:52. All the aloha planes grounded like that. My dad flew for aloha airlines.

  • great video!! i will sure miss ATA airlines, even though ive never been on them...

I will miss Aloha airlines Even more!

    Mahalo for posting Video!!!

  • 2008 is a VERY bad year for airlines. Aloha airlines, ATA and skybus, the ultra-low fare airline, went bankrupt and went out of service =((

  • Terrific filmclip, thanks, what a sad day it must have been, i hope all those employees find new incomes, it would be hard, not to mention stressful for them.

  • 3 airlines shutting down in one week is to much

  • Great video. My parents were stranded in Vegas on the day ATA shut down flight operations, so they had to make arrangements with Hawaiian Airlines just to get back to Hawaii.

And ironically, my mother was an employee of Aloha Airlines for over 40 years, and retired prior to their cease of operations. It's still a total shock to hear of that happening to such an icon of Hawaii.

Much mahalo's for sharing your video!

  • Great commentary. Sad to see the two airlines go.
