I remember thinking fireman sam was pretty good when I was a kid, although it wasen't in my regular rotation I thought it was just as good as postman pat. What always got me were the innocuous lyrics of the song coupled with this kick ass rocking music that almost seemed entirely out of place, with the words and the program! Its like Jimmy Page just decided to gatecrash the fireman sam recording sessions on his way to the studio, laid down a few bars and they decided to keep it in!
