  • did that just say "the next stop is roslyn"?

  • I'm not sure, from there it would head to long island city.

I havent been to the city or on the train in a long time

  • i was on a dubble decker on williston park to oyster bay

  • which LIRR lines do these double deckers run on?

  • LONG ISLAND CITY line

  • i can only catch them during rush hours, huh?

  • they run on ronkonkoma branch, port jeffison branch.

  • greenport, montauk, oyster bay and the port jefferson branches.

  • The LIRR C-3 double-deckers are on the Port Jefferson, Ronkonkoma (Ronkonkoma-Greenport section only), Oyster Bay, City Terminal (LI City), and Montauk branches.

  • Aww, those trains are so awesome! Much better than the Metro North trains on the New Haven Line that I am used to. I rode one of the double decker LIRR trains from Mineola to Jamaica at around 10:45 at night. Very nice. Nice vid btw too!

  • what time was that train pulling out of hunterspoint avenue? And how many cars are there?

  • It was in the morning, I believe around 8:00am, it was a train that was running 30 minutes late, I just noticed it stop in my station so I ran down to the other platform where it was and boarded it, knowing it was going to be a rare chance for me to ride these trains.

If I remember right it was a 5 car train originatiing in Port Jefferson

  • I think it was 8 cars

  • Looks good, hun =3
