Seems like there are hesitations in the video at a few points early on.

Any way to avoid that?

from DV camera captured live,non-HD-older handycam into Quicktime-recording options:

H.264 "Best" 640x480 video, 128kbps ACC audio.

Then I used Quicktime to compress or "export for uploading to youtube using these settings

I uploaded this to test uploading (this being my 1st one).
