Just watched the follow up documentary to this and i'm very annoyed and disillusioned with this whole case. I mean you get called crazy for even suggesting that elements of the US government may have had something to do with the deaths of 3000 of their own people on 911 yet when 2 women display obvious signs of actually being crazy and one is then released to stab an innocent man to death trying to help. She then gets only 5 years in prison and no psychiatric test on release. Now thats crazy!

@Billymaston Wasn't that question addressed in the program? I believe they said something about the psychiatrist/surgeon assessing them without access to the footage and, finding her to be in sound condition at that time, had no choice but to release her. Unfortunately that's the big problem with legislation, you have to play by the rules even when you know it's probably not right (for example, the judge not being able to pass the sentence he felt most appropriate).

Sabrina Erikson (or is it Eriksson?) has been charged for murder of a certain Glen Holinshead (sp?) but am not sure at what point. Glen was found stabbed to death near where she attempted to commit suicide in May jumping from the bridge.
There's more about Sabrina Erikson in swedish on the web. In May she tried to commit suicide by jumping from a bridge onto a dual carriageway but was unsuccessful. After she heals up at the hospital she gets on a bus from liverpool to London with her twin sister and get off mid journey on M6 near stoke on trent which is where the police spotted the twins walking down the central reservation.

I have just read a swedish article. The murder took place in May - before this event. Sabrina Erikson tried to commit suicide that same day (not the above vid). The arrest happened after both attempted suicide events.

She lived there two years ago but she moved to Ireland with her husband and their kids. She lived on a camping site with a bunch of junkies and drunks and gypsies. The camping is called Åby camping and is located in Mölndal just outside of Gothenburg.

Just watched the follow up documentary to this and i'm very annoyed and disillusioned with this whole case. I mean you get called crazy for even suggesting that elements of the US government may have had something to do with the deaths of 3000 of their own people on 911 yet when 2 women display obvious signs of actually being crazy and one is then released to stab an innocent man to death trying to help. She then gets only 5 years in prison and no psychiatric test on release. Now thats crazy!

The police say she was fine and we see that footage of her acting normal in the station, it's pretty obvious that anyone who does that and then appears fine is extremely dangerous. I believe they said something about the psychiatrist/surgeon assessing them without access to the footage and, finding her to be in sound condition at that time, had no choice but to release her. Unfortunately that's the big problem with legislation, you have to play by the rules even when you know it's probably not right (for example, the judge not being able to pass the sentence he felt most appropriate).

If you're primary issue with this documentary was with the fact that they were foreigners, then you should go back watching something that you are intellectually capable of understanding. This could have been ANYONE, locals/or tourists. Very fucking bleak and unimportant fact in relation to what actually went down. She lived there two years ago but she moved to Ireland with her husband and their kids. She lived on a camping site with a bunch of junkies and drunks and gypsies.
