@boons50 hold y for grenade get weapon upgrades for fire mode changes

@boons50 hold Y (triangle for ps3) to switch to grenade and throw with Right trigger (R1). for firing methods, you need to go to weapon research.

@oblivi0ndoll yeah, i just haven't unlocked any research on for alt fire modes or ammo type. the game is fun i just wish there was more content and the levels were bigger. i also would like a onslaught of zombie-like enemies, to feel overrun.

@cyberwaffles But an onslaught of SMART enemies like you get on Hard mode is more fun. And full version has 8 more missions for co-op, and another difficulty level (Expert)

@oblivi0ndoll cool to know there's an expert mode since i actually don't have much of a problem with hard, although i have my problems from time to time. either way the game is shaping up nice and the other levels should be pretty fun too.

@cyberwaffles If I have a good team, I find it pretty easy too. When I first picked it up, it was hard even on Normal - and having bad teammates can still make it a pretty nasty challenge. You also need to keep in mind that this is meant to be the first mission in the co-op campaign, so it's probably the easiest one to finish.

@oblivi0ndoll it being the easiest level makes sense, and yes it still is a challenge even on normal. if you don't have any teammates who don't know what they are doing or rush into battle, then you can forget about winning the level. can't even count the amount of times teammates ran pass me instead of healing or rebooting me. i'm sure when the game gets out there will be more people who know what they are doing. co-op is solid tho, bottom line. crossing fingers for campaign now.

Sad that not like the older Squad based strategy games, but an FPS of Syndicate makes more sense than a FPS of Xcom any day of the week XD

but seriously this game doesnot have anything special. Its a shooter, thats all i can say after i played the demo. Yeah you can customize your character by adding points too his health, damage etc, but well, not something that other shooters are lacking these days. For me this game just lacks that spark

@SquirrelsFlyHigh have you tried the weapon research yet? there are more options. although i wish there was more depth throughout the levels, i did enjoy the "left-4-dead" style co-op gameplay. it is just like it and the hacking and breaching system is very cool.  it needs some improvements, but i love it so far.

from what i can see it looks good the ads seemed a little fidgety but i'll have a look at the demo tonight and see if it was noticeable. hopefully this could be a very awesome multiple, a sci-fi brink almost.

@ceroblade: YES...that's the other game i was trying to remember. It does have a Brink-esque feel to it. I didn't even cover the loadouts, chip ripping or configurations in this one. Just wanted to get some gameplay down. I'll probably do another vid to look at those aspects :D
