Hi littledragon. If you hit pause at :22 seconds, you should be able to see that it certainly is not Cynthia Dale. Actually, not even that close a resemblance. Cheers
Sorry, but it really is not Catherine O'Hara. Since the show was on such a low budget, it could well have been two women from the crew or production office.
I loved when he did Tom Monroe-believe it or not the background music is quite pretty, eventhough it was a goof.Rick Moranis was great as was the whole show.
How appallingly typecast Moranis was in later years, during his movie career. Turns out he WAS versatile but Hollywood only every wanted the exact same portrayal: the geek from Ghostbusters in every movie he ever did.
I hope he screwed Hollywood for every penny he could while they abused his talents.
No kidding. (But can you blame her?) I can only imagine the outtakes with her: Laughing uncontrollably, saying, "No, I'm good this time," then they start rolling only for her to laugh before he says one word, so now the takes where she's sucking in her bottom lip the entire time are the best ones they could get.
The lip sync on this is much better than most videos from this era, including the Talking Heads SCTV knew exactly what they were doing, and how to use the limited technology they had beyond anyone else in the same time period. add in the fact that they were banging this shat out in a hurry, it becomes clear it was so farking good, when you push the limits of your craft in both technology and art in a way that nobody else can way before it's "possible" It burns you out in a farking hurry.
No ID on her but I'd take the girl in tan skirt and pink pumps any day. regardless, both are very classy looking ladies and they, obviously, have a sense of getting into the humour.
There are a lot of uncredited, pretty women showing up in some of these vids. I did notice that at least one of them appears in both House of Slave Chicks and Puchare. Great Canadian babes. Can't be beat!
@DonCook47 It's Catherine O'Hara, a cast member of SCTV. A/K/A The mom from Beetlejuice. She's been in a lot of stuff over the years, and she's still around. (the one in the red outfit)
@DonCook47 That's Catherine O'Hara, a SCTV alum. She was the mom in the Home Alone Movies, the voice of the main uh girl thing in The Nightmare Before Christmas, and a lot of other roles. She still is incredibly attractive, and was even moreso on SCTV (if you are into funny, beautiful, self depreciating red-heads.) I think in this she seems to be making a semi-goofy face.

Woman on the left - in beige - is Cynthia Dale, who later starred in the TV series Street Legal.

So funny. That was so funny. I feel sorry for someone who won't laugh hard at this.

absolutely classic!! the real humor is in the subtleties...such as the camera angles, and the ladies legs. it's so lame it's golden!

I like how when the song ends he turns like he's got somewhere important to dash off to (like, in the woods?)
In Turning Japaneesse he does the same thing.
i love both of these.
Yeah, strange crotch shot with him on the ground....

yes...the guy he played in The Days of The Week was the antithesis of a nerd...and he pulled it off without a sweat

@Aragond68: Moranis quit acting after the death of his wife, and really hasn't acted since, from what I hear.
