nice to know that you like it, but it's not "trance", or at least i (and many others) wouldn't call it that way. today, "trance" is associated with paul van dyke, dj tiesto and others. cheesy mainstream stuff for people who don't know better. sorry, no offence.
i doubt van dyke etc. would play this one. it's detroit rooted techno. quite soft and dreamy detroit techno, but definitely detroit.
FINALY, someone that knows what their talking about when it comes to that 'dirty' word Trance and the BIG differences between this, and that. Respect!
If I may offer my opinion as a dj/producer of 25 years, and former patron of legendary clubs & parties that created these styles, what people refer to as Trance for the past ten years is considered techno by anyone from the original school. This track is actually much closer to what the word "trance" was intended to encompass when the term was coined.
@zulutron pff, it's irrelevant what it is man.. it's a pure beauty, that's for sure.. and it's definitely a kind of trance music, in the most general meaning of the word trance.. not your narrow interpretation from the word: the music brought by those big names (which is also def not my cup of tea)
If this is trance...I will cut my genitals..

@mayonueve no it's far from trance, it's influences are deeply rooted in early Detroit techno and chicago jack style trxs

trance became a very bad word sometime around 97. it lost all meaning of what the word actually means. "trance".

I don't think your comment was off base... in my opinion this track is much closer to real trance than anything the new kids these days call trance.
