  • Have you ever seen the actual lego piece compasses? They really do work!

  • ohh lets put this in our pockets

  • that's very cool but whats the yellow pieces by north

  • who has a copass you ok show it what this is it well you sir can go with the other lego fantics

  • thanks for telling me when the end was because i wouldn't have know otherwise

  • if you make it bigger i will achieve non-pocket ranking

    even if it already is

  • what a huge compass!

  • I hope "North" leads you to the correct direction

  • how heavy is it lol

  • i keep one of those in my back pocket

  • BIG!!!

  • i love this thing its soo cool ,but i have one thing that i dont understand why its soo awsome

  • in order to use that in the woods it must know where is north and it must be very easy to carry...bec. when your in the woods it might be broken when you open the bag and it will make your bag full easily...

  • I love it :D

And not in the least do I love the fact that it's a giant pixeled compass :P

    Reminds me of MineCraft XD

  • How long did it take for you to make that?

  • cool

  • very impressive!

  • why dont u make a transmission so it does turn arround faster ?

  • you sure need this in forest it is very "portable and cheap" try one long lego brick 1 small lego brick, 2 magnets and needle it will do the same thing cheaper and it will take less than minute to build

  • DAM !do you work out?

  • kompass?its compass

  • Awesome but on the dial where it says N E S W, why does north look like --_',;I?

  • imagine carrying that around on hike

  • isnt that too big to carry around if you DONT have a compass

  • wow

  • you have no life and it was a dumb idea

  • awsome

  • I dont think i can fit that in my pocket! LOL! great idea.

  • @Legofan78 lolz

  • cool but it so big

  • wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much time on your hands LOL

  • wow that is... beyond awesome!

  • How you did that?

  • i think you used a giroscope sensor to make it work

  • Oh thanks!

  • cool

  • Great work...

  • So? Who cares?

  • @mine070 every one else is doing it!!!! MOTHERFUCKER

  • 31595

  • not very realistic, as far as i know lego didn't make a 3x3 brick,

    but great project ;)

  • im the 31405 weiwer yay!

  • I am the 30,779 viewer xD

  • im the 30,661 viewer :P

  • i'm the 30,160 viewer - hu-ray!

  • im the 29,000 viewer yay.

  • It uses the Compass sensor that you can get from a third party company that makes mindstorm extensions.

  • How does it detect north?

  • It uses compass sensor.

  • LOL

  • how did you make that or was the lit ready made?

  • Nice!

  • lol, that piece was cool, i forgot what set it came in though, something underwater i think.

  • How am i stupid? I got the piece from an underwater set years ago.

  • ooo portable :P

whats with the yellow bricks next to the north pointer?

  • Wow it works!

  • N looks kinda screwed but besides tht 5/5

  • how do you get so many bricks?!

  • try fiting that in ur pocket

  • I have the real peice of that haha its cool

  • it probably took the longest to make the lid haha

  • wtf u on about? what he's done isnt hard... so why fake it?

  • he uses the compass sensor!

  • yeah the compass sensor is like 30$ why the hell would some1 fake this...

  • Yes he does!

  • @emanuel0831 nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • No, he has a compass sensor at the other end of the inner spinning thing!!!

  • Awsome Case! :)

  • what do you say? lets go out to the forest with that large compass xD haha

  • try and make a smaller version

  • Awesomeness: 10/10

    Originality: 10/10

    Practicality: 1/10

Great model, but I'm not sure I would want to lug it around in the woods with me. Although...

"Where do we go from here?"

    *pulls it out*

    "That way!"

  • XD omg we could do a skit !!!!

    XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD

  • Yikes, that's a big compass. Excellent work once again.

  • Nice work 10 stars

  • Omg! Pure genius!

  • to person who made the compass: how many pieces did it take and how long did it take to build it?

  • hello pokeprime,

it takes 9 hours to build the hardware and 1/2 for the program.

  • @leggor3 that quike?

  • You clearly put a lot of time into making the case for that!

  • That uses that compass sensor then?

    - Mike

  • Hello Mikemc,

    right, the HiTechnic compass sensor.

  • NICE!

  • 5 stars = awsome!

  • how many lego pieces did it take to build it? BTW, it looks really cool :)

  • I don`t have count the bricks. Sorry.

  • lol, no problem. It'd probly take too long anyways.

  • There is no N for north?

  • Hey marjan15,

there is no N for north! Because on the original Brick is no N for north. ;-)

  • @leggor3 Is there a brick that looks like this..?

  • cool :D

  • WOW! good job!

  • HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO BUILD THE TOP

  • Hey MythCrusherZ,

it takes a litle bit longer then an evening(6h).

  • nice, but i don't think you would be taking that on a camping trip.

  • Hello zerosk8er4lifee

    Why not? ;-)

  • that's sooooooooo cool ! i love it xD

  • Wow, thats a sick creation. Lot of lego there :D
