Thanks very much - I am finally getting into eyeshadow after over 10 years of just eyeliner and mascara, and your videos are very helpful! As for the mascara: if you wear contacts, using waterproof mascara might be a little hard on the eyes - at least for me it is, which is a shame because where I live, women cycle a lot in rain and wind, so we could use waterproof stuff ;-)

I am on the lookout for a good concealer that provides lots of coverage but w/out getting cakey or settling into cracks. Any suggestions? I've tried the spongetip liquid, the mary kay cream, and the maybelline stick (which works better as a highliter than a concealer).

don't you find that waterproof mascara is too harsh on your lashes? it used to make mine so stiff and brittle I never use waterproof anymore

Hm, I don't find that. I use a good makeup remover for waterproof mascara to take it off. I have really runny and watery eyes so I need waterproof, otherwise I'd always have racoon eyes from tearing.
