I remember this movie being pretty good. If you go on Rotten Tomatoes it is rated 27% which is weird to me. Not that anyone should be consulting that site to foot their opinion on a movie.

@DDrake961 Ironically, that scenario is pretty close to what happened in the book. Pinocchio causes chaos in town, and then Geppetto gets blamed for it. PERFECT LOGIC.

Anyway in the Italian dub Volpe is called "Volpo" and Felinet "Felinetta"

@elpistachio Lorenzini was good but he's not a very original character, he's just a mix between Stromboli, the Coachman and the Monstrous Whale.

@DeepEye1994 perhaps. On the other hand, he's more suave than Stromboli, more powerful than coachman (owns his own park and his own puppet show and can repay Geppetto's dept to the bakery and courthouse) and his ultimate weapon is red hot peppers. Pretty cool if you ask me. Plus, we have just one character who becomes more of a monster as the story goes on rather than 3 characters with one third of his personality.

Your point is true, also Lorenzini's twisted personality gets worse: first he treats bad Geppetto and he's eager for money, then he gets more evil than before by truning kids in donkeys and eventually kill some of them to get new boots and in the very end...He actually TURNS into a real friggin monster!

@brb1006 volpe and felinette are the fox and cat from the book, but here they are human thieves with animnal nicknames. At the end they get turned into animals, just like the ones in the original story.
