I'm currently studying mental health and found this by chance when doing so research into cultural issues in relation to mental health and found it fascinating and extremely useful so thank you for posting! However, the statement that drug abuse causes over 90% of mental illness is a little misleading; I don't argue that a high number of MH patients use drugs but in most cases it is NOT the cause, more often a means of escaoe for people whose personal reality is too much to bare- unfortunatley..

@Beccalaful what he means by 90% is that the ones he m due to drugs n not in general.et in the hospitals were 90%
