One of my favorite books in Jr. High was an autobiography by Senora Carver called A Girl and Five Brave Horses. It's the story of her career, the surgeries to try to reclaim her sight. It had pictures of the Five horse(Red Lips is mentioned in the book), The book is back in print and on Amazon, so I think I will order myself a copy!

Tears of sadness, then it was tears of joy! This is such a beautiful story. I read a movie critic review that says this movie captures the Great Depression era so well, even better than the other movies with the bigger budget. I thought I would never see this movie again. Tears of sadness, then it was tears of joy! This is such a beautiful story. I read a movie critic review that says this movie captures the Great Depression era so well, even better than the other movies with the bigger budget. I thought I would never see this movie again. It is very uplifting and inspiring even for this era. Many thanks for uploading this tender story, it was greatly appreciated!

This is scary, I love this movie, long time since I last saw it, and i have a clear memory that Sonora got her sight back in the end. But It looks like I remember wrong o.O
