  • Bromine must have very Intermolecular forces if so much of the atoms escape from the liquid phase to the gas phase… wow…

  • Liquid bromide, so dangerous.

  • Pure bromine is liquid, no need to mention that it is a liquid bromine. Franah!!!

  • neo you are an idiot

  • now why didn't you tell them that in the form of a reply?

  • americans are THICK! She said a LAYER of bromine, how can you have a liquid layer lol only applies to solids.

its aluminium NOT aluminum in the same way its not chromum but chromium.

its NOT BURNING FFS!!!!!!!!!!!! burning is another word for combustion not a aluminum-bromide reaction.

and she sounds like a twat

  • @neogastropoda1 Uh yes, you can have layers of liquids if they are insoluble and have different densities.

Since they can't mix eventually the less dense liquid will float onto the top in a new "layer".

  • @neogastropoda1 Make better science videos then, rather that judging others.

  • don`t use so mutch bromine!!!

  • @olympicfan2 from a guy who is jealous of all the bromine they have

  • where you get bromide?

  • the white fumes are no AlBr3

the gas. AlBr3 from the reaction reacts with H2O in the air to form Al(OH3) and Al2O3

so there is not much AlBr3 in the smoke

also, its not AlBr3 condensing to solid, again its Al(OH)3 and Al2O3

and u dont scrape solid AlBr3 off the watch glass - its just Al(OH3) and Al2O3

add water and u will see that the solid does not react at all, whereas AlBr3 reacts violent with water

    not too late to study?

so why dont the makers of this video go study?

  • Cos there cunts lol

  • What is the purpose of Aluminum Bromide?

  • Aluminium (III) Bromide can be used as a halogen carrier when you want to react bromine with Benzene, of course I'm sure there can be other uses but this is the one I have recently studied.

  • Nice

  • Cool but that gas is really dangerous.

  • that is soo cool

  • Cool.

  • Nice
