The bit about using the cutter was brilliant! I got one when I did the first bathroom and it made life so much easier! Also, thanks for the tip about using two tiles to measure the cuts. But, I had to use a rented tile roller from Home Depot, I could actually hear the air bubbles get rolled out. Tip: if you're using spacers for grout, don't take them out before rolling. The spacers keep the tiles from moving when you roll.
this type of tile is truly crap. peel and stick tile has always sucked. these tiles are probably already coming up. i install sheet vinyl and vct tiles (vinyl composition tile). these products are much better than these customer ripoff junk products. and ironically vct is somewhat cheaper than most peel and stick tiles.
@nitr0junki3 Ridiculous! The tile looks great and had stayed like a champ! If you follow some simple tips (like making sure the underlayment is scrupulously learn, sealing the floor and using a roller (I used a 75 pounder), the floor looks great and the tiles STAY PUT. But, if you try to wing it, I guess you get what you get.
The primer is used to make the adhesive on the back of the tile stick better to the concrete. I think you use something different for the tiles that has to be glued to the floor though.
I warned you guys about the bad audio haha. Yeah audio is pretty bad. For some reason it does not sync into my computer right with the DV cable even though I did it twice with two different cables.
thanks for the upload - i'll be starting my first tiling a room and the tips are useful cheers :)
