  • Completely understandable if you learned Castilian Spanish and had some literature classes which exposed you to some variety in vocabulary. Gorgeous, we must not let the Ladino language perish from the Earth. It's a Romance Language all in its own right, like Portuguese, Castilian, Italian, etc, not a hybrid Jewish language - but I think you now understand that. (Who the blazes thinks it's Georgian?? :D Yah, magically I understand an entire song in Georgian... Necio.

  • this's georgian language.

  • @gaarasamaofsuna no is not, it is castillian from 15 century

  • Es castellano antiguo, no es mezcla con hebreo. Todas las palabras son en castellano.

    Bonita cancion.

  • beautiful <3

it was my to-get-sleepy Song ;)

  • Lovely song, check this version of a mexican group, unfortunately the singer died last friday i still feel awfuly in pain. Anyway enjoy. youtube.com/watch?v=URlltodyRDI

  • @kinkyboy82 Thank you for this version - truly lovely! And the singer - so beautiful. I'm so sorry for your loss.

  • Sephardic in Utah, love this songs!

  • I wouldn't call Djudezmo a "hybrid" language. It is a branch of Spanish that separated from Castillian with the expulsion and then acquired other influences- but it is its own language that preserves many of the characteristics of Medieval Castillian.

  • @DerLiedmeister Thank you, point taken :D

  • The song is amazing. Who´s singing this version?

  • @Sevdalija1 Hi.. it's performed by the Janet and Jak Esim Ensemble (Antik Bir Huzun / Judeo-Espanyol Ezgiler - Kalan Muzik, 2005). You can download it from Amazon.
