The Reloads aren't actually realistic in this game,and repeaters weren't used by common soldiers,only by cavalry towards the end of the war.

I have this game and I love how often times shooting a revolver at a guy from point-blank range will miss. It often takes forever to kill anyone, there's countless invisible walls, the reloads are forever (surprised you guys didn't mention that at all), and overall is one of the worst games I've ever played. Well, except for the History Channel's War for the Pacific.

When I saw the title I thought it was for an even worse edutainment game of the same name wherein you used a smoothbore musket (1 shot at a time) that you had to reload manually. If you reloaded it when it was already loaded the musket would backfire and kill you when you pulled the trigger. Best Game, Ever.

Actually, reloading technology had come a long way from the American Revolution to the Civil War. A good shooter used to be able to shoot an amazing THREE times per minute.
