Decent predictions, but Cote over Almeida? I like both, but I've gotta say Ricardo has it won. Anything can happen, but I see him pulling out a TKO, round 2.
Very great predictions for all fights. Everyone makes the same arguements though for Rampage winning the fight. i agree he is a much better fighter all around but forrest can take a beating we all know that. Plus im sure Forrest has trainers and ppl paying attention to this stuff so he knows what to work on
I agree that Rampage will likely win but I think he will TKO Griffin in the 3rd round. Griffin pushes the pace a lot but he does it wildly and gets himself tired. He started to gas in the second round against Rua, even though Rua gassed more. Rampage has shown he can push the pace and go 5 rounds.
jardine did overwelm him on the ground and forest wasnt really doing anything on the ground to block him but whe he fought rua he was doing a great job controling him
Shogun actually has fought in a cage before against Babalu in a IFC event back in the day, and has trained numerous times in a cage.
It really came down to his knee and lack of preparation for the fight I think. None the less Forrest won and was the better fighter that night. Thanks for the kind words, and the support.
I think Griffin takes his fight against Jackson. He hasnt lost since Jardine and he just seems more hungry More determined to win. Jackson is a very good good fighter all around. Jackson is ALOT better now then he was in pride its just that I think Griffin will take it, he probably wont TKO or KO him but probably by SD
I dont think I gave him to much credit persay, He has come along as a fighter, and with his training partners, and his place mentally. His two quick knockouts were not the reason for picking him, its based on the fact of where he is now compared to where he was. Defnitely a better technical striker since gaining delegrotte.
I will not be surprised If Almeida catches him, like I said, but I think Cote comes out with a gameplan, and uses his footwork, jabs, and legkicks. Could be wrong, that is the beauty of MMA though. Thanks for the comment, & def some solid points in your video.
Good vid, i'm happy that you think Rampage will win because i think so too, and he is in like a six win streak. One negative thing, just a small one, just because someone has faught against goods guys, don't mean they are very good if they lost them. E.g. Heath herring faght agaist some of the worlds best and lost several times, so just sayin that he faught those guy doesnt really say much.
Thanx for the support, this is true, however gaining experience in defeat or in a win is better than no experience at all. I mention those names for newer fans, and diehards to be familiarized with fights that have happened, to either go check that fight out, or to go yeah I remember that fight. I agree though that that doesnt mean they are better, however it is experience and it is who they have faught. Thanks for the comment.
Yeah gd picks as always i feel lytle is going to beat kosheck as i dont see him doing anything while heas on top and i think lytle is better on the feet and will tko him in the third round
Like always good pics and good points for making those pics. I think that Almeida will sub. Cote I like Cote and I usally cheer for him but with Almeidas sick BJJ & diverse take downs like Okami, I see Almeida taking Cote down from the clinch while on the fence and it will be all down hill from there. But Since I also like Cote I will not be surprised if he KO's or TKO's Almeida.
hmmm well Brandon Vera is moving down as well, it could be a coincidence, but I wouldn't doubt Dana putting either of them up to it. I mean, are there any other matches for Silva that could be sold at 185?
I know there are matches hardcores want, but catering only to hardcores isn't a good idea. Now, you market Anderson as a world beater at 185 and give him some lesser known competition to see how it goes then step it up to someone like Shogun, Wandy or Chuck and you've got a ton of sales.
True, there are still solid fights at 185 for him, Almeida, Cote, Okami, Palhares, Marquardt, Maia, so on so forth. We will get to find out I am sure soon enough why Vera and Silva moved down and up.
Coté has become one of the most improved fighters in the UFC, De La Grotte did a lot for him. It's good to see someone call attention to that, most people still see him as the Chris Leben lite, a tough chinned guy who can crack you with one shot and put you down but has no real technical ability. Coté does have an excellent shot of wining this match
i too think that Rampage is too much of a match for Forest. He's been my favorite mixed martial artist for some time now, can't wait to see if he retains the title.
I think thats a closer fight that most people give it credit for, Tibau is a huge guy for 155, has a great wrestling base, and great BJJ. I don't think Stevenson will completely dominate him. Stevenson's striking has gotten better, but
it isn't that much better than Tibau's, IMO. Should be a great fight none the less, and watch as soon as I call split, you will be right, Stevenson will dominate him lol. Thats MMA for you.
I usually don't, 10 minutes is not enough time unfortunately, I am thinking about in the future, doing two vids, one on the main card, and one on the prelims, if time permits, and school and work isn't going crazy on me.
definantly know what your talking about nice vid

Heh i think you give Cote a little too much credit. Although he's had two quick victories, I don't think gameplan came that much into it.
See my vid if you wanna know what I thought ^__^

Im pretty sure that Rampage is gonna take this fight. And i was wondering what ur thoughts were on Lyoto Machida vs. Anderson?
RichHobo53 3 years ago
Interesting fight, its a tough fight to call honestly, if Machida stays elusive and doesn't get caught, Machida sylistically is bad for anyone.

I'll do mine after the TUF finale. Sounds good, at least one of my picks are different, though. That's always a good thing too.

Forgot to ask man, what are your thoughts on Anderson vs James Irvin at 205?
reflectionsfade3 3 years ago
It will most def be an interesting fight, my pick though I will have to save for another day.
I am curious to hear though, if Silva moved up in weight for a challenge, or if Dana asked him to?
